Keep ignition voltage reaching every cylinder with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap AL-134, a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of vintage AM General, Henry J, Jeep, and Kaiser models. It caps the top of the distributor, housing the terminal towers that the rotor sweeps beneath to route high voltage from the ignition coil out to each spark plug wire.
- Distributes ignition voltage: transfers high voltage from the coil, via the rotor, to each spark plug terminal in the firing order.
- Signs it may need replacing: cracks, carbon tracking, or corroded terminals that can contribute to misfires, rough running, or hard starting — if a failed cap is the cause, this replaces it.
- Direct-fit application: installs in place of the original distributor cap on the listed applications.
