Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:JH-125
Keep high-voltage spark routed cleanly to every plug wire with a new 1991-1997 Toyota Previa distributor cap from Standard, part number JH-189. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1991-1997 Toyota Previa. Engine-specific details are on the Buyer's Guide tab.
The distributor cap receives voltage from the ignition coil. As the rotor turns beneath the cap, that charge passes to each spark plug terminal in firing order. Over time, heat, moisture and electrical arcing can crack a cap, leave carbon tracks on its inner surface or corrode its terminals.
Signs this part may need replacing: misfires, hard starting, a rough idle, or visible cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals inside the cap. Other ignition components can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause first. If a worn cap is behind the problem, JH-189 replaces it.

Will the Standard JH-189 fit my 1991-1997 Toyota Previa?
JH-189 is listed for the 1991-1997 Toyota Previa. Engine-specific details are on the Buyer's Guide tab.
What does a distributor cap do?
It takes high voltage from the ignition coil. With the rotor turning underneath, it sends that voltage to each spark plug wire terminal in firing order.
What is this distributor cap made of?
Standard makes its distributor caps from high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin. The resin is intended to reduce carbon tracking and resist electrical breakdown.
What are signs a distributor cap may need replacing?
Misfires, hard starting, a rough idle, cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals may indicate a worn cap. Other ignition parts can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause first.
What part numbers does JH-189 interchange with?
It interchanges with C719, JP962, EP858, 19017019, 4987, JH189T and 1910176010.
