Send ignition spark to every cylinder in the correct firing order with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap (JH-254). It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport (L4-2.4L), seating over the distributor so the rotor can pass high voltage from the coil out to each spark plug wire.
Durable dielectric housing: molded from high-dielectric-strength, glass/mineral-reinforced polyester resin for reduced carbon tracking and strong resistance to electrical breakdown.
5 terminals, side towers: aluminum contact terminals set in a side tower position to route spark to the plug wires.
Vented, black cap: a vented design finished in black.
Screw mount: attaches to the distributor with screws.
Note what isn't in the box: the ignition rotor, spark plug wires, gaskets, screws, and instructions are not included — transfer or source these as directed by the vehicle service procedure. A cracked, carbon-tracked, or corroded cap can lead to misfires, rough running, or hard starting; if a failed distributor cap is the cause, this replaces it. Made in Japan.
