Mounted on top of the distributor shaft, this rotor spins to route high-voltage current from the ignition coil to each terminal in the distributor cap, feeding the spark plugs in firing order. It's a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of 1978–1989 imports and Chrysler-family vehicles, including the Dodge Colt, Caravan and D50, Plymouth Colt and Reliant, Chrysler LeBaron and Conquest, Mazda 626 and B2000, Mitsubishi Starion, Ford Courier and Nissan Micra.
A worn or corroded rotor tip can cause weak spark, misfires, or hard starting. If a failed rotor is the cause of these symptoms, this replaces it — always diagnose the ignition system first. Fits engines from L4-1.2L up to L4-2.6L across the listed applications.
