• What it does: An electrically operated switch that uses a low-current control signal to open and close the higher-current heated-seat power circuit.
• Direct fit: Made to plug into the listed applications as a straightforward replacement for the original relay.
• Signs it may need replacing: Heated seats that won't warm up, warm only intermittently, or stop responding to the switch can point to a failed relay — diagnose the circuit first, and if the relay is the cause, this replaces it.

Because a relay lets a small switch signal control a much larger current draw, it keeps the seat-heating switch and its wiring from carrying the full heater load. When it fails, the seat elements often lose power entirely or cut out under load.
