Standard Ignition Vapor Canister P/N:CP3340
$208.99

Store the fuel vapors that would otherwise vent from the fuel system with the Standard Ignition Vapor Canister CP3340. Part of the evaporative emission (EVAP) system, this fuel vapor canister traps fuel vapor in activated charcoal so it can later be drawn into the engine and burned instead of escaping to the atmosphere. It drops in as a direct-fit OE replacement on the 2009-2012 Ford Escape [L4-2.5L] and the 2009-2011 Mercury Mariner [L4-2.5L].

  • Direct-fit OE replacement: OE-matched connector and terminals for correct performance and easy installation.
  • Durable housing: designed to withstand temperature fluctuations and exposure to chemicals and debris.
  • Built for higher-mileage Ford vehicles: specially engineered for these applications.
  • Validated: undergoes extensive lab and on-vehicle testing so the complex evaporative emission system operates as the OE intended.

The black canister carries three ports and three hose connectors sized for 1/2-inch hose, plus a single female connector with two male blade terminals and an included filter element. If a failed vapor canister is the cause of a fuel-vapor odor or an EVAP-related fault, this replaces it. Country of origin: Mexico.
