Rear Brake Hydraulic Hose for 2015-2017 Volkswagen Golf & More - Sunsong 2207350

Keep brake fluid flowing to the rear brakes with the Sunsong brake hose, part number 2207350. This rear brake hydraulic hose is a direct-fit replacement for the 2015-2018 Volkswagen Golf, 2015-2017 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen and 2015-2017 Volkswagen GTI. Sunsong is a vertically integrated manufacturer that researches, develops and builds automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines. Its hoses are designed to deliver exact form, fit and function on the listed applications.

• Precision engineered to exact fit: Brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves are included as the application requires, so the wearable parts are renewed along with the hose.
• Standards compliance: Sunsong brake hoses meet or exceed DOT, Federal Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 106) and SAE J1401 standards.
• Zinc-electroplated steel tubing: All tubing is made from high grade steel and electroplated with a zinc coating. The coating resists corrosion and rust from high humidity, road salt, water and grime.
• Pressure tested: Each hose goes through a high-pressure quality assurance test before it leaves the factory.
• Copper washers: Hoses with banjo end fittings come with new copper washers for proper sealing.

A brake hose is the flexible link that carries brake fluid under pressure to the brake while the wheel and suspension move. Signs this part may need replacing include a cracked, swollen or chafed hose cover, fluid seepage at the hose or its fittings, and a soft or spongy pedal. Other brake components can cause the same symptoms, so inspect the system before replacing parts. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine details.
