Keep brake fluid moving to the front right wheel brake with the Sunsong brake hydraulic hose, part number 2202915. It is a direct-fit replacement for the front right position on many vehicles, among them the 2002-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR and 2002-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.
A brake hydraulic hose is the flexible link that carries brake fluid from the vehicle's rigid brake line to the wheel brake, and it flexes as the suspension and steering move. Sunsong is a vertically integrated manufacturer that researches, develops and builds automotive fluid transfer hoses and lines. The company designs its products around what installers need and to deliver exact form, fit and function.
- Precision engineered to exact fit: the hose comes with brackets, grommets, molded plastic guards, wire clips and protective sleeves where the application requires them. These are intended to return the wearable parts to original condition.
- Standards: the hose meets or exceeds DOT requirements, FMVSS 106 and SAE J1401.
- Zinc-electroplated tubing: the tubing is made from high-grade steel and electroplated with zinc. The coating resists corrosion and rust from high humidity, road salt, water and grime.
- Pressure tested: every hose goes through a high-pressure quality assurance test before it leaves the factory.
Where a hose uses banjo end fittings, Sunsong includes new copper washers for proper sealing. Signs a brake hose may need replacing include visible cracking, bulging or swelling, fluid seepage at the hose or fittings, or a soft, spongy pedal. If the front right hose is the cause, this Sunsong hose replaces it. Follow the vehicle service information for installation and brake bleeding.
