Send power from the transaxle to the driver's-side front wheel with the TrakMotive CV Axle Shaft MI-86005, a premium-grade front-left (driver's side) assembly. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 2008-2020 Mitsubishi Outlander [All], 2013-2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport [All], and 2013-2019 Mitsubishi RVR [All].

A CV axle shaft carries engine torque through its inboard and outboard constant-velocity joints, allowing the driveline to flex as the front suspension and steering move. If a torn boot, clicking on turns, or vibration under acceleration is caused by a failed original axle, this replaces it.

  • Joints & splines: male inboard joint with 27 inboard splines; conventional outboard joint with 28 outboard splines.
  • Boots: thermoplastic boot on the outboard joint and neoprene boot on the inboard joint help protect the CV joints.
  • Axle nut included: staked axle nut, 32 mm hex, M22x1.5 thread.
  • Sizing: overall compressed length 25.625 in (651 mm); extended length 27.69 in (703 mm). ABS tone ring not included.

Country of origin: China.

Interchange: none listed. Manufacturer part number MI-86005.
