Quick facts
- Part: Four Seasons 57981 A/C compressor
- Fits: 1994-2002 Chevrolet Cavalier and other vehicles
- Condition: Remanufactured
Weak cooling, a noisy compressor or a clutch that no longer engages can mean the compressor is wearing out. Before you replace it, rule out low refrigerant, a leak elsewhere in the system and a fuse, relay or wiring fault; a shop can pressure-test the system.
