Four Seasons A/C Compressor P/N:67478
Four Seasons 58098 A/C compressor for the 1980-1982 Chevrolet Malibu and other vehicles pumps refrigerant through the air conditioning system so the cabin can cool. The new Four Seasons A/C compressor is a GM A6 unit.
Weak cooling, a clutch that will not engage or a grinding noise can point to the compressor, but they can also come from a refrigerant leak or an electrical fault. With the engine off and cool, look over the compressor body, fittings and belt for oily residue, cracks or wear. A shop can test the system pressures.
The 1980-1982 Chevrolet Malibu, the 1962-1976 Chevrolet Impala and the 1962-1966 Chevrolet Suburban are among the vehicles this compressor fits. It is a direct-fit replacement built to OE standards for consistent cooling. Open the Buyer's Guide tab to check your exact model and engine.
