Four Seasons 58259 A/C compressor for the 1985 Buick Electra and other vehicles compresses refrigerant and moves it through the air conditioning system. It is a new GM HR6 compressor.

Warm air from the vents, a clutch that will not engage or a noisy compressor can point to a worn compressor. Before you replace it, look it over with the engine off for oily residue at the fittings and for a worn clutch or pulley, because a leak elsewhere or a bad switch could leave the air just as warm.

This is a direct-fit replacement for the 1985 Buick Electra, the 1985 Buick LeSabre and the 1985 Oldsmobile 98. The 1985 Oldsmobile 98 takes one compressor.
