Quick facts

- Position: Front
- Material: Aluminum
- Condition: New
Weak cooling, a musty smell from the vents or refrigerant loss at the core can mean the evaporator has failed. These signs alone do not prove the evaporator is the problem, since a low refrigerant charge from a leaking hose can look the same. If a failed evaporator is the cause, this part replaces it.
