Four Seasons 39209 front a/c expansion valve for the 2006-2009 Chevrolet Equinox and other vehicles meters refrigerant into the evaporator and is calibrated for cabin comfort for both driver and passengers.
- Engineered and tested for trouble-free operation, from a brand with over 50 years of mobile A/C experience
- Meets or exceeds OEM fit, form and function requirements
- Precision machined ports
- Block type valve without a solenoid
- Made of aluminum, for R134A refrigerant
Weak cooling at the vents can mean the expansion valve is worn or stuck, though a tired compressor or a restricted condenser can be behind it too, so find the cause before you replace this part.
The 2006-2009 Chevrolet Equinox, 2006-2009 Pontiac Torrent and 2008-2009 Saturn Vue all fit this valve, and so do other vehicles. It is a direct-fit replacement for these vehicles.
