Help keep moisture and contaminants from circulating through your air conditioning system with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier / Desiccant Element 83418. This part is also listed as a filter drier desiccant bag kit and is supplied with a plug. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2021-2026 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2021-2026 GMC Yukon and 2021-2026 Chevrolet Suburban, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

  • Moisture control: The drier absorbs moisture in the system through its desiccant bag, which uses high-quality desiccant chosen for appropriate absorption.
  • Filtering role: The drier also works as a filter. It helps remove moisture and contaminants that flushing the system cannot clear.
  • Kit contents: Supplied as a desiccant bag kit with a plug.
  • Service requirement: Four Seasons requires this replacement to validate its compressor warranty and calls for it anytime the system is serviced.

In a leaking or open A/C system, the desiccant bag can become saturated within a few hours, and the drier then stops working. For that reason, replace the desiccant whenever the system has been opened or repaired. Installing it opens the refrigerant circuit, so follow the vehicle service information for refrigerant recovery, evacuation and recharge. Four Seasons has more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience and designs its products for years of trouble-free operation.
