Keep moisture and contaminants out of your air conditioning system with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier / Filter Drier 83001, an aluminum unit with a pad mount that installs as a direct-fit replacement on the 1995-1999 Hyundai Accent. This part is listed under both the receiver drier and filter drier names.
- Aluminum construction: aluminum filter drier with an integrated pad mount.
- Durable, leak-free design: quality welds and high-quality desiccant for appropriate moisture absorption.
- Installation hardware: includes the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal.
- Filtration: acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants the system cannot clear by flushing.
The receiver / filter drier absorbs moisture through a desiccant bag; a leaking or "open" system can saturate the bag within a few hours and leave the drier ineffective. Because these contaminants cannot be flushed out, the drier should be replaced anytime the A/C system is opened for service, and its replacement is required to validate compressor warranty. If a saturated or contaminated original drier is behind your A/C performance issue, this unit replaces it.
