Keep the A/C system clean and dry with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier, MPN 83189. This aluminum filter drier with a pad mount installs as a direct-fit replacement for many Audi models, including the 2010-2012 A4 / A4 Quattro, 2013-2015 A4 Allroad, 2008-2011 A5 / A5 Quattro, 2012-2014 Q3 / Q3 Quattro, 2009-2017 Q5, 2010-2017 S4, 2009-2017 S5, and 2014-2017 SQ5. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of covered applications.

  • Aluminum construction: built with quality welds for a durable, leak-free design.
  • High-quality desiccant: uses a desiccant bag to absorb moisture from the refrigerant circuit for appropriate absorption.
  • Filtration: acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants that cannot be cleared by flushing.
  • Install-ready: the necessary gaskets, o-rings, and seal are included for easy installation.

The receiver drier removes moisture and contaminants from the air conditioning system, and because these contaminants can't be flushed out, replacing the drier is essential. A leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant bag within a few hours, making the unit ineffective. Four Seasons notes it should be replaced anytime the system is serviced, and replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this receiver drier do?
