A/C Receiver Drier for 2002-2007 Buick Rendezvous & More - Four Seasons 83226

Help keep moisture and contaminants out of your air conditioning system with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier / Filter Drier 83226, an aluminum filter drier with a pad mount. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2005-2006 Chevrolet Uplander, 2001-2005 Chevrolet Venture and 2002-2007 Buick Rendezvous, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.

This part is listed as both an A/C receiver drier and a filter drier. It works as the system's filter, removing moisture and contaminants from the A/C circuit. Flushing cannot remove those contaminants, so the drier itself needs to be replaced.

• Desiccant moisture control: A desiccant bag inside absorbs moisture from the system. If the system leaks or is left open, the bag can become saturated within a few hours, and the drier then stops working.
• Welded aluminum construction: Quality welds are intended to give a durable, leak-free design. The pad mount is part of the unit.
• Installation seals included: The necessary gaskets, O-rings and seal come with the drier.
• Certified production: It is made in an ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 certified facility, and Four Seasons brings more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.

You must replace the drier every time the A/C system is serviced. Replacement is also required to validate the compressor warranty. A system that has leaked or been left open is one sign the drier may need replacing, because its desiccant bag may be saturated. Diagnose the cause of an A/C fault before replacing parts.
