Warm air from the vents, oily residue around the hose or its fittings, or a cracked or damaged hose can be reasons to replace it. Before you replace the hose, rule out other causes of weak cooling, such as a leak elsewhere in the system or a compressor problem, since these signs can come from more than one part and a shop can test the system.
This hose is a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2015 Smart fortwo.
