ACCEL Spark Plug Wire Set P/N:4041
$88.99

Upgrade spark delivery on your street-driven V8 with the ACCEL spark plug wire set, part number 4041, from ACCEL's SuperStock 4000 series. This universal-fit 8-cylinder set fits many vehicles, among them the 1967-1974 Dodge Charger [V8-7.2L] and 1967-1974 Chevrolet Camaro [V8-5.7L]. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

ACCEL designed its SuperStock 4000 sets to upgrade an OE ignition system for high spark delivery in street-driven applications. The 450°F-rated silicone jacket is extruded over a tightly woven fiberglass braid. That braid sits over high-dielectric-strength EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) inner insulation, and ACCEL rates the ignition wire performance above SAE specifications.

  • Wire and core: 8mm yellow wire with a high-gloss silicone jacket and a carbon graphite core.
  • Boots and terminals: 90-degree silicone boots and stainless steel plug terminals.
  • Street-ready: RFI suppression for street-driven applications, with resistance and boot temperature rating that meet or exceed OE.
  • Ignition compatibility: Intended for both pre-HEI and post-HEI vehicles.

Plug wires carry high voltage from the ignition system to each spark plug. Misfires, a rough idle, or cracked, burned or arcing jackets and boots are signs a wire set may need replacing. Sold as one set. Country of origin: China.
