It fits many vehicles, among them the 1993-1997 Ford Ranger 3.0L, 1993-1997 Ford Aerostar 3.0L and 1997 Ford F-100 Ranger 3.0L; see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list. The oil pan bolts to the bottom of the engine block to hold the oil supply that the pump pickup draws from; a dented, rusted-through or leaking pan is a common reason to replace it.
