Description

Help get warm air flowing back into the cabin with the Agility Autoparts Heater Core, part number 9010554. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2012-2022 Volkswagen Passat, 2009-2019 Volkswagen Tiguan and 2010-2014 Volkswagen Golf, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.

The heater core sits inside the vehicle's HVAC heater module and works like a small radiator. Hot engine coolant flows through its tubes while the blower pushes air across its fins, and that warmed air is sent into the cabin for heat and defrost. If a leaking or clogged heater core is behind weak cabin heat or coolant loss, this unit replaces it.

Drop-In Fit: Agility fitment-checks its heaters in the actual vehicle's HVAC heater module, so this one is ready to install right out of the box.
Fin and tube design: Enhanced design features, including the latest fin and tube technology, are aimed at increased thermal performance and resistance to corrosion.
OE specifications: Certified by Agility to meet or surpass OE specifications.
Quality systems: Engineered and built under ISO TS16949 quality systems, and 100% leak tested.

Buyer's Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this heater core a good choice for a 2012-2022 VW Passat heater core replacement?

Yes. Part 9010554 is a direct-fit replacement for the 2012-2022 Volkswagen Passat, and it also fits the 2009-2019 Volkswagen Tiguan and 2010-2014 Volkswagen Golf. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the other listed vehicles.

What does an hvac heater core do?

It works like a small radiator inside the HVAC heater module. Hot engine coolant flows through its tubes, and the blower pushes air across the fins to warm the cabin.

What are signs a heater core may need replacing?

Common signs include weak or no cabin heat, a sweet coolant smell inside the vehicle, foggy windows, damp carpet or unexplained coolant loss. Diagnose the cause first, because other cooling-system faults can cause these.

How is this Agility heater core quality checked?

Agility builds its heaters under ISO TS16949 quality systems, and each one is 100% leak tested.

Is it ready to install right out of the box?

Yes. Agility fitment-checks its heaters in the actual vehicle's HVAC heater module for a drop-in fit. Follow the vehicle's service procedure, including refilling and bleeding the cooling system afterward.
