Description

Hold your Subaru's engine at its designed operating temperature with the AISIN Engine Coolant Thermostat THF006. This standard-design thermostat assembly stays closed until the coolant reaches its start-to-open temperature, then opens to route coolant through the radiator so the cooling system holds the correct temperature range. It fits the front, lower thermostat position and installs as a direct-fit replacement across a wide range of Subaru models, including the 2019-2025 Ascent (H4-2.4L), 2014-2018 Forester (H4-2.0L), 2012-2014 Impreza (H4-2.0L), and 2015-2023 WRX (H4-2.0L / H4-2.4L) — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of applications and engine codes.

Construction: brass and stainless steel.
Start-to-open temperature: 88°C (190.4°F).
Jiggle pin check valve: included to help bleed trapped air.
Sealing: gasket/seal included; 56.0 mm sealing flange outside diameter, 36.0 mm flange height, 28.0 mm bypass flange diameter.
