Quick facts
- Part: AISIN WPM-013 water pump
- Also called: engine water pump
- Fits: 1989-1994 Mitsubishi Montero V6 3.0L and other vehicles
- Condition: New
Coolant residue near the pump, a whine or grinding from the front of the engine, or engine overheating can be signs that a water pump is wearing out. Before you replace the pump, rule out a low coolant level, a loose or worn drive belt and a sticking thermostat, since each of those can also lead to overheating.
