Quiet driveline vibration and help keep the gearbox located with the Anchor Front Transmission Mount (MPN 2293). This mount supports the transmission and dampens vibration, and it installs at the front position on many Volkswagen models, among them the 1974-2004 Volkswagen Sedan, 1954-1969 Volkswagen Beetle and 1974-1980 Volkswagen Super Beetle. • Application-tuned hardness: the rubber is manufactured to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
• OE-standard engineering: engineered and designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process; any included fasteners are hardened, heat-treated Grade 5 steel bolts.

Signs a transmission mount may need replacing include powertrain movement — a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, added vibration at idle, or cracked and separated rubber. If a failed mount is the cause, MPN 2293 replaces it to help support the transmission and dampen vibration.
