Description

Quiet driveline vibration and keep your transmission properly located with the Anchor transmission mount 2419, a left-side mount that installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 1973-1979 Volkswagen Beetle, 1973-1980 Volkswagen Super Beetle, and 1973-1974 Volkswagen Thing. It supports the transmission and dampens the vibration it would otherwise send into the chassis.

Purpose-built rubber: molded from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life.
Application-tuned hardness: the rubber is manufactured to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle's requirements.
Strong rubber-to-metal bond: a Chemlock® bonding agent locks the rubber to its metal for a durable bond.
OE-standard build: engineered to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process for consistency; any included fasteners are hardened steel, heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

Over time, engine and driveline movement fatigues the rubber. Signs this mount may need replacing include vibration felt at idle, a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, and rubber that is cracked or separated from the metal.
