Description

Quiet a shaking driveline with the Anchor transmission mount 2822, a rear automatic transmission mount that supports the transmission and dampens vibration. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1992-2002 Ford Crown Victoria [All], 1997-2002 Lincoln Town Car [All], and 1992-1997 Mercury Grand Marquis [All].

Rear mount position: engineered to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process for consistent fit and quality.
Rubber compound: uses only natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life.
Bonded construction: Chemlock® bonding agent creates a strong rubber-to-metal bond, and the rubber is manufactured to a specific durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
Hardware: any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade #5 bolts.

As this Anchor automatic transmission mount ages, the rubber can crack or separate, producing vibration at idle or a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting.
