Quiet driveline vibration and keep your gearbox properly located with the Anchor transmission mount 2974, a LEFT-side transmission mount that installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 1988-1989 and 2000-2007 Ford Taurus and the 2000-2005 Mercury Sable. This Anchor automatic transmission mount helps support and locate the transmission while isolating the vibration and movement it transmits into the chassis.

Supports and isolates: cushions the transmission, helps hold it in position, and dampens vibration.
OE-standard engineering: designed to OE standards using Anchor's CAD/CAM process for consistent fit and quality.
Durable rubber: uses natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, with hardness set to a specific durometer for the application.
Strong bond: Chemlock® bonding agent creates a superior rubber-to-metal bond. Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

Signs a worn mount may need replacing include a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, plus added vibration at idle or cracked, separated rubber. If a worn mount is the cause, this mount replaces it.
