Description

Tame engine shake and hold the powertrain where it belongs with the Anchor Engine Mount 2241, a direct-fit front-left mount for a wide run of classic Ford and Mercury cars. It fits applications including the 1965-1971 Ford Country Squire, 1966-1970 Ford Fairlane, 1967-1970 Ford Mustang, 1968-1969 Ford Torino, 1965-1969 Mercury Comet and 1966-1970 Mercury Monterey — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of 20 applications.

This mount helps support and locate the engine while isolating vibration from the chassis. Worn rubber shows up as extra shake at idle, clunk on acceleration, deceleration or shifting, and cracked or separated rubber — signs this mount may need replacing.

Vibration control: Supports the engine and dampens vibration in the front-left position.
Rubber compound: Uses natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber for abrasion resistance and stability as it ages.
Bonded build: Chemlock® bonding agent is used for a strong rubber-to-metal bond; rubber durometer (hardness) is set to the vehicle application.
Fasteners: Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.
