Quiet a rough, shaky ride and keep the powertrain planted with the Anchor Engine Mount 3118, the right-side mount for the 2009-2012 Chevrolet Malibu. It helps support and locate the engine while isolating vibration and limiting movement, so shocks and torque loads are damped instead of transmitted into the chassis. Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts; consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused. Worn signs include vibration at idle, clunk on acceleration, deceleration or shifting, and cracked or separated rubber.
