Arnott Industries Air Suspension Strut P/N:AS-3748
Replace a leaking or sagging front air strut with the Arnott Industries AS-3088 Air Suspension Strut. It fits many Mercedes-Benz SUVs with AIRMATIC, among them the 2010-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350, 2007-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL450 and 2008-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL500. It is a complete, pre-assembled strut assembly built with OE-quality components. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed Mercedes-Benz SUVs with AIRMATIC, including models with ADS (Active Damping System). AMG models are excluded. As a universal unit, it fits either the left or right front side.
Arnott engineered this new strut assembly as an aftermarket replacement. For best results, Arnott recommends replacing the struts in pairs. Signs an air strut may need replacing include a corner that sits low after parking, an audible air leak, or a compressor that runs more than usual.

This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
Does the AS-3088 fit the left or right side?
It fits either side. The AS-3088 is a universal front air strut for the left or right side of the listed Mercedes-Benz models, and Arnott recommends replacing struts in pairs for best results.
Will this strut work on a vehicle with ADS (Active Damping System)?
Yes, on the listed Mercedes-Benz applications with AIRMATIC and ADS. On ADS-equipped vehicles, this strut converts the adaptive damping to passive damping.
Does the AS-3088 fit AMG models?
No. Arnott excludes AMG models from this strut's applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the confirmed list of vehicles.
Where is the AS-3088 designed and assembled?
It is designed and assembled in the USA. The strut pairs a custom-designed Eibach shock absorber with a multi-ply Continental ContiTech air spring sleeve.
What are signs an air suspension strut may need replacing?
Possible signs include a corner that sags after parking, a hissing air leak, a compressor that runs often, or a bouncy ride. Diagnose the cause first, because leaks can also come from lines or valves.
