This new hydraulic power steering rack and pinion is a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma and 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner (All engines), and is engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications in performance, fit and function.
A rack and pinion converts the rotation of the steering wheel into the side-to-side motion that steers the front wheels, using hydraulic assist to reduce steering effort.
