ATP Automatic Transmission Flexplate P/N:Z-167
ATP Z-269 auto trans flexplate for the 1999-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles connects the engine to the transmission's torque converter.
Constant expansion and contraction can eventually crack or shear a flexplate, and a damaged one can cause serious, expensive damage. A broken flexplate cannot be repaired, only replaced. A failing starter, a loose torque converter or a worn engine mount can also be behind drivetrain noise or vibration, so find the cause before you buy a flexplate.
The 1999-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 1999-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2000-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe take this flexplate, and so do many other models. One flexplate goes between the engine and the transmission. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
