This rear-position mount is a direct-fit replacement for the 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner, helping support and locate the transmission while isolating the vibration and movement that would otherwise transfer into the chassis and cabin.
Supports & isolates: holds the transmission in position and dampens vibration and shock for smoother, quieter operation.
OE-standard engineering: designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM engineering process for consistent quality.
Durable rubber: built from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages; rubber is made to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
Strong bond: Chemlock® bonding agent is used for a superior rubber-to-metal bond.
Over time the rubber can crack, separate, or collapse. If a worn mount is the cause, common signs include a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, plus added vibration at idle. Any fasteners supplied are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts; consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.
