This FRONT steering component drops in for the 1983-2003 Chevrolet S10, 1991-1994 and 1996-2001 Oldsmobile Bravada, 1991-2004 GMC Sonoma, 1995-2005 GMC Jimmy, 1996-2005 Chevrolet Blazer, and 1998-2000 Isuzu Hombre (all engines). An idler arm works opposite the pitman arm to support the center link and hold the steering linkage in proper alignment; if a worn idler arm is the cause of play, wander, or uneven tire wear, this replaces it.
