Bosch BC1306 front brake pad for the 2011-2018 Volvo S60 and other vehicles is a bonded ceramic pad aimed at quiet stops and low brake dust. This disc brake pad set is for the front axle.

• Bosch QuietCast brake pads use a patented copper-free ceramic friction formula with an advanced aerospace alloy, compliant with 2025 Copper Free legislation.
• OE style rubber core shim: pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber to steel for lower noise, more strength and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE and rubber coated hardware reduces vibration and noise and prevents binding to the caliper.
• The powder-coated backing plate prevents rust and corrosion.
• A protective transfer layer extends pad and rotor life.

A squeal, a grinding noise or pad material worn thin can mean the pads are due. Noise or vibration under braking can also come from the rotors or sticking caliper hardware, so during a brake service look over the rotor faces and caliper slides for scoring or sticking before you blame the pads.
