Bosch QuietCast brake pads build on Bosch's OE braking heritage, which dates back to 1927. They pair a copper-free friction formula with pre-attached shims and a powder-coated backing plate.

• Copper-free friction formula: The patented formula uses an advanced aerospace alloy and complies with 2025 Copper Free legislation. Bosch engineers formulate and test the friction material for QuietCast performance.
• OE-style rubber core shim: Pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber and steel. They are designed for lower noise, added strength and corrosion resistance.
• Powder-coated backing plate: Helps prevent rust and corrosion, which is intended to increase brake pad life.
• Protective transfer layer: Designed to extend the life of both the pads and the rotors.

Synthetic lubricant is included with the set to help reduce resistance at sliding contact points. Squealing, grinding, longer stopping distances or thin friction material are signs your front pads may need replacing. Inspect the rotors and caliper components during installation, and follow the vehicle's service procedure.
