It installs as a direct-fit rear disc brake pad set for a long list of applications, including the 2001-2006 BMW 330CI, 2003-2006 BMW M3, 2004-2010 BMW X3, 2000-2006 BMW X5, 2000-2003 BMW Z8 and the 2003-2005 Land Rover Range Rover. • Copper-free friction formula: a patented QuietCast friction formula that meets 2025 Copper Free legislation.
• OE-style rubber core shims: pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber to steel for lower noise, added strength and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE & rubber-coated hardware: helps reduce vibration and noise while preventing the pads from binding to the caliper.
• Powder-coated backing plate: resists rust and corrosion to help extend the life of the brake pad.

A protective transfer layer is designed to help extend pad and rotor life, and synthetic lubricant is included in all applications to reduce resistance on sliding contact points. Replacing worn pads that squeal, grind or leave a low pedal helps restore normal braking when the pads are the cause.
