Designed for lower noise with a pre-attached rubber core shim, the Bosch QuietCast Disc Brake Pad Set BC815A is a front-axle BOSCH brake pad set that installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. • OE-style rubber core shim: Pre-attached multilayer shim bonds rubber to steel for lower noise, added strength, and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE & rubber-coated hardware: Helps reduce vibration and noise while preventing binding to the caliper.
• Powder-coated backing plate: Guards against rust and corrosion for longer pad life.

A protective transfer layer is designed to help extend pad and rotor life, and synthetic lubricant is included for the sliding contact points. Part of the Bosch QuietCast line, these front pads use a friction material formulated and tested by Bosch's engineers. For even, balanced braking, replacing the pads on both sides of the axle together as a matched set is recommended.
