Quick facts

• Part: Bosch 0986338401 auxiliary water pump
• Also called: engine auxiliary water pump
• Fits: 2015 Volkswagen Passat 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles
• Condition: New

A coolant leak at the pump or a new whine from it can mean the pump is wearing. A loose hose clamp can leak coolant as well, so these signs alone do not prove the pump is at fault.
