Bosch Fuel Pump Module Assembly P/N:69701
Bosch 67780 fuel pump module for the 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L and other vehicles moves fuel from the tank to the engine's injection system. It is an electric in-tank module that includes a fuel sending unit.
Hard starting, sputtering or a whine from the tank can point to a weak pump. Before you replace the fuel pump assembly, rule out a blown fuse, a faulty relay or damaged wiring, since any of them can leave the pump without power.
It fits the 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L and the 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L. The Chevrolet takes one module, and so does the GMC.

Does the Bosch 67780 fit the 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L?
Yes. Bosch 67780 fits the 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 1500 with either the V8 4.8L or the V8 5.3L, and it also fits the 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 V8 4.8L or 5.3L.
Does this fuel pump module come with a lock ring and wiring harness?
No. Bosch 67780 includes the fuel sending unit, filter, strainer, gasket or seal and O-ring, but not a lock ring, wiring harness or suction pipe.
Is the Bosch fuel pump module a pump only or a complete module?
It is a module. This in-tank electric unit comes with its fuel sending unit, filter and strainer, so you are not buying the bare pump.
Could a whine from the tank mean the Bosch 67780 fuel pump module is weakening?
It can. Hard starting and sputtering are other possible signs of a weakening pump, and a shop can test fuel pressure, since that test involves the fuel line.
How does this module protect the pump from contamination?
Bosch 67780 has two layers of filtration that keep debris away from the pump and out of the fuel system. Contamination is the #1 cause of fuel pump failure.
