Bosch Oxygen Sensor P/N:15819
Bosch 15788 oxygen sensor for the 2006-2009 Mazda 3 4-cylinder 2.3L, the 2006-2013 3 4-cylinder 2.0L and other vehicles measures the air-fuel ratio in the exhaust and reports it to the ECU. It is a heated, wide-band sensor that mounts upstream.
A failing upstream oxygen sensor can show up as a check engine light, rough running or poorer fuel economy, though a wiring or exhaust fault may produce those symptoms as well. With the engine off and cool, look over the harness and connector for damage, and leave the electrical tests to a shop.
It is also an oxygen sensor for the 2008-2010 Mazda 5 4-cylinder 2.3L and fits the 2012-2013 Mazda 3 Sport 4-cylinder 2.0L. These cars take one upstream sensor, and this listing is a single sensor.
