Brand-new build: a 100% new unit (not remanufactured), factory-tested to perform under heat, cold, and high demand.
Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction (PMGR): 12-volt, 1.5 kW design with a 12-tooth pinion and clockwise (right-hand) rotation.
Build details: aluminum housing and closed-nose aluminum nose cone, flange mount with 3 bolt holes, grounded case, and an attached solenoid; designed for automatic start/stop operation.
Bosch backing: designed to fit and perform on par with the original-equipment part it replaces, and covered by the Bosch Ultimate Protection Plan when registered at purchase.

Mounting hardware and shims are not included, the flange is not re-clockable, and the unit has no over-crank protection. Country of origin: China. If a failed starter is the cause of a no-crank or slow-crank condition, this replaces it.
