CARDONE Reman Disc Brake Caliper P/N:18-B4874
Swap out a worn front-right caliper with the A1 CARDONE brake caliper 18-4126, a remanufactured, unloaded unit that turns hydraulic pressure into the clamping force that presses the brake pads against the rotor. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1979-1995 Chevrolet G10, 1979-1995 Chevrolet G20 and 1979-1986 Chevrolet C10. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
CARDONE remanufactures this disc brake caliper to strict quality and performance standards using new components, and every unit is 100% pressure-tested.
Because it is an unloaded caliper, it ships without brake pads. This listing is for one front-right caliper, and replacing both front calipers together is recommended for even, balanced braking. CARDONE's remanufacturing process reduces the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.

Which vehicles does the A1 CARDONE caliper 18-4126 fit?
It fits many vehicles in the front-right position, including the 1979-1995 Chevrolet G10, 1979-1995 Chevrolet G20 and 1979-1986 Chevrolet C10. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
Does this caliper come with brake pads?
No. It is an unloaded caliper, so brake pads are not included. It comes with new bleeder screws and port cap plugs, plus a mounting bracket, banjo bolts, washers, clips and pins where applicable.
What does a brake caliper do?
When you press the brake pedal, hydraulic pressure pushes the caliper piston out. The piston squeezes the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel.
What are signs a caliper may need replacing?
Common signs include brake fluid leaking at the caliper, pulling to one side, a dragging or hot wheel, or uneven pad wear. Diagnose the cause first, because other brake parts can cause the same symptoms.
Is the caliper tested, and do I need to bleed the brakes?
Every unit is 100% pressure-tested. The brake system must be bled after installation, and the new bleeder screw is designed for trouble-free bleeding and a positive seal.
