CARDONE Reman Disc Brake Caliper P/N:18-B8072
Designed to deliver consistent clamping force at the rear right wheel, the A1 CARDONE Reman Brake Caliper 18-B5262 is a remanufactured, unloaded caliper supplied with its mounting bracket. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer, 2013-2019 Ford Taurus and 2010-2014 Ford Flex, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
CARDONE remanufactures each caliper to strict quality and performance standards and equips it with new components. Every unit is 100% pressure-tested to help deliver consistent braking performance.
This is an unloaded caliper, so brake pads are not included. The caliper uses brake fluid pressure to press the pads against the rotor. Signs a caliper may need replacing include brake fluid leaking at the caliper, a pull to one side, a dragging brake and uneven pad wear. If a leaking or sticking caliper is the cause, this unit replaces it.
CARDONE's remanufacturing process reduces the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.
