- 100% pressure-tested: Each remanufactured caliper is fitted with brand-new components and pressure-tested for consistent brake performance.
- New EPDM seals: The rubber seals are replaced with new high-temperature EPDM rubber.
- New bleeder screws and port protection: New bleeder screws make bleeding easy and seal positively. A plastic cap plug protects every brake port thread until installation.
- Corrosion protection: The caliper is treated with a specially formulated rust inhibitor and kept in its original equipment finish.
The pistons resist cracking and pitting and are built to handle heavy loads. Depending on the application, a mounting bracket, banjo bolts, washers, stainless steel hardware clips and mounting pins may also be included. CARDONE's remanufacturing process uses 80% less energy and raw material than making a new part.
A caliper that sticks, leaks fluid or does not release evenly can cause pulling, brake drag or uneven pad wear. If the caliper is the cause, this unit replaces it. It is sold individually for the front right position, and replacing both front calipers together is recommended for balanced braking.
