When a disc brake caliper sticks, the car can pull to one side under braking or a brake can drag, and fluid around the caliper calls for prompt attention. Before you replace this caliper, rule out binding slide pins and a collapsed or restricted brake hose, which can also pull a car to one side.

Fits

This listing is one caliper for the rear left wheel; the rear right is a separate part, and the other side of that axle is normally done at the same time. The 2002-2006 Infiniti Q45 takes one on each side of the axle, and the same caliper is also a brake caliper for the 2003-2004 Infiniti M45.

• Use the brake fluid the original manufacturer specifies, which is stamped on the master cylinder reservoir lid, from a new sealed container.
