CARDONE Reman Power Steering Pump P/N:20-2401
A1 CARDONE 20-296 power steering pump for the 2002 Ford Thunderbird and other vehicles supplies hydraulic pressure for power-assisted steering. This is a remanufactured pump, and every unit runs a hydraulic efficiency test.
A whine from the pump, steering that feels heavy or fluid around the pump and hoses can mean the pump is wearing out. With the engine off and cool, look the belt, hoses and fittings over for leaks or damage first, and check for binding steering components. If the pump is the cause, this one replaces it.
This pump fits the 2002 Ford Thunderbird and the 2001-2002 Lincoln LS, and each car takes one.
