Centric 130.62150 brake master cylinder for the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Equinox and other vehicles turns pedal force into hydraulic pressure for the brakes. When you press the pedal, this Centric brake master cylinder pushes brake fluid out toward the wheels.
A pedal that feels soft or sinks, fluid around the master cylinder or a brake warning light can mean the master cylinder is worn. Brake hoses, calipers and the fluid level can also be behind a soft pedal, so track down the cause before you buy. Brakes need prompt attention, and a shop can test the hydraulic system.
This master cylinder is listed for a wide range of Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac models. The main ones are the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Equinox, the 2012-2015 Chevrolet Captiva Sport and the 2008-2010 Saturn Vue, and these cars take a single master cylinder each.
