Quick facts
- Part: Cloyes 9-5522 timing chain guide
- Also called: engine timing chain guide
- Fits: 2009-2012 Toyota Corolla 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles
- Position: Right
- Condition: New
A worn engine timing chain guide can show up as chain rattle from the front of the engine, a timing-related check engine light, or a grooved guide surface when the cover is off for service. Before you replace the guide, rule out other causes of chain noise; if the chain, tensioners or sprockets are worn, they are normally replaced along with the guides during timing service. This listing is one guide for the right side; the 2009-2012 Toyota Corolla 4-cylinder 2.4L takes one there, and a guide for any other position is a separate part.
Fits
This right-side timing chain guide is a direct-fit replacement for the 2002-2011 Toyota Camry 4-cylinder 2.4L, the 2001-2003 Toyota RAV4 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2004-2008 RAV4 4-cylinder 2.4L. Other cars take it too, and the "Vehicles it fits" section is where you find your own year, model and engine.
